  • He was the one who came up with the formula for computing the areas of triangles and circles. 
  • Aryabhatta was awarded the title of ‘Father Of Algebra’ because of his remarkable grasp and explanation of planetary systems employing it. 
  • Aryabhatta calculated the value of pi to two decimal places, which was 3.14.
